yummy licorice!
Braelyn's first taste of licorice thanks to uncle Wally. She loved it! Funny faces and all she just kept on eating it.
Yummy!
Robin thought it was pretty funny too!
Shorty tie-dye
So thanks to cousins Andy and Melissa Young, my little Brae stays hip and stylish in her tie-dye. My cousins have started a tie-dye company called "shorty tie dye" and we love their stuff. Brae has been sportin' it since she was born and here are just a few pictures we took for them.
Sooo talented...thanks Andy and Melissa!

10 months!
Ten months has been a blast. Brae has conquered a few walking steps, she says "uh oh" "baby" "dada"and she continues to be a bit of a mommas girl ( I was told to eat it up while I can). My favorite part is that she's sooo lovable right now. Cuddle time is the best! Finally, we sleep pretty good but nap time is still over rated. Though you could never tell, she snacks all day and sitting down for a meal is a little crazy. Too much of a busy body for that. We're just lovin our sweet girl!
Yes, she has discovered the toilet paper roll!
Cuddling with her horse that aunt T and Uncle mac bought her.
She prefers to stand in the rocks. Chris has a yard full of grass for her and off to rocks she goes.
The Park
Lucky enough for us we have a few parks close to home and that makes for lots of play time. The weather has been beautiful and now's the time before it gets too hot. Brae loves being outside especially the sand and rocks. Grandma and I love taking her out on our days off. Thanks to hardworking husbands and part-time jobs!
The slide's ok now. Doesn't love it yet but i'm sure she soon will.
Braelyn's famous face. What???

Grandma's keeping her from hitting her head.
Nice Abs!

She'll be our little rock climber.

I took this picture because Braelyn just had to have her hand above grandma's on the swing. Every time my mom would move her hand above B's she would peel my mom's fingers off and Braelyn would make sure her hand was above grandma's. Sooo funny, little stinker.
She'll be our little rock climber.
Weekend in Benson!
I still love going home! I love the land and openness that our parents have living in the country and I especially love it now that we have Braelyn. The adventures we had growing up as kids with so much freedom is not like anything you can get living in the city. We spent one weekend playing outside in the yard and roaming the sand wash behind my parents house. We were showing Brae how much fun it can be and the trouble we use to get in to.

My parents still have this ancient swing set at their house from when we were kids..... so we thought we'd give it a try!
pretty!

My new camera!
My lovely husband bought a new camera for Christmas! It's sooo nice to have now that our little Braelyn is a busy body and it's hard to get good pictures of her. I just love it! Not so good at picture taking yet, but here's a few shots of the little Braezer herself.

Sweet baby girl!

New Year's 09'
New year's was fun as always. I unfortunately had to work. So..... at 8pm on the 31st Chris, Braelyn and I packed up and made the treck to Benson. My parents always have a new years eve party for my brother Wally who was born on New year's day and we couldn't stand to miss it!
Brae was fun! She slept the whole way to Benson so she was awake and ready to celebrate by the time we got there. Then, 2am came and mommy was ready for bed. Brae shortly fell asleep thereafter with some coaxing.

Just learning! The shadows are bad in this one but I thought it was cute of her looking at the dogs.
