7 months!

Braelyn is now 7 months old. She's sleeping better, almost crawling, loves to shop, nights are becoming her favorite part of the day and her laugh is contagious. Grandma came to babysit and we spent the next day shopping for leprechaun supplies. Braezer is going to be a Leprechaun for Halloween hence she was born on St. Patricks Day. The day was fun filled and I can't wait till Oct 31st!
Grandma and Brae at Santan Village Mall.

She hasn't quite got the hand-knee coordination down yet but she's close. AHHH, give her another couple of weeks and I'll have to baby proof my house.

Daddy thought it was funny when he put her skirt on her head. Braelyn just fell right in and played the part. Crazy kid!

Land!

So we finally did it. We bought land just outside of Show Low and spent a day dreaming about living on it. Not so sure that dream will ever come true but I love the thought of having a place where our kids can run free. We went in on 30 acres with a few of our family members and it's just sooo pretty.

This was antelope we saw just across the road from our land!

Turkey???

What a fun trip! We went camping again for Chris's turkey hunt. Unfortunately no turkey for Chris but Grandpa got one. It's mainly just an excuse to get out of the house, chase some elk and hear them bugle. Braelyn was able to spend some much needed time with her twin cousins and her Auntie Ann. We spent most of the days inside due to cold weather and it even snowed. Tons of fun!
Braelyn now has two teeth! This was her first brush.
Of course it was beautiful and sunny on the last day. Grandma was getting her lovin in before we left.
Bathing in the camper. Brae still loves her bath time.
Bundled up for the night!

Braelyn with her cousins Zane and Alex. The twins are now a little over a year old. They were born premature and have some catching up to do. Braelyn could eat them both! This is the best picture I could find. we could never get them to all cooperate and look at the camera at the same time.

OFF TO THE LAKE!

Off to the lake! Toes painted and I'm ready to go
so cute!
Getting ready for her first boat ride. Lookin a little like Elvis.
Wasn't so sure about the life jacket at first but soon got use to it.
Chillin with my grandpa. He loves to tease me but I get back at him just wait and see.....

Daddy catching some air!
Loving on Grandma.
Hangin back at the dock.
Loving it much better without the life jacket. Brae loved the water. It was a short weekend trip but she'll be ready for the lake again next year.
OOPS! Grandpa wasn't watching and Brae pulled off the cover to the steering wheel. Too funny!
Grandpa couldn't quite figure out how she was strong enough to pull it off? Sneaky little girl.

Playing in the water with uncle Wally and Robin. Wally was spinning her in circles to make her laugh. Brae thinks her Uncle is pretty funny.

6 Months!

Our little Braezer! She's 6 months old now and too much fun. Brae now rolls around all over the place, likes her sweet potatoes, drinks from a straw, and loves music. Music turns her head. She's happy just watching music video's or the sound of anyone singing catches her attention. She's a very happy kid for the most part. A bit of a mommy's girl lately, but I can't say I hate it. Braezer has become very much a "people watcher" and thinks sleep is for the weak!
This is a rocking horse her aunt Teresa and Uncle Mac bought her. She goes crazy on this thing.
Braelyn and her grandma with a new book. Grandma spoils her rotten and buys her new things almost every time she comes to visit. The problem is.... she comes to visit every other week to babysit. We love you Grandma!

She sure loves her Daddy. Braezer must of got her love for music from her daddy. Chris sings her to sleep almost every night. Ready to run if she could. I am learning that she could soon be a greater challenge.
We love our pedi peds. I'm so excited because Brae's feet are finally big enough to wear them. so stinkin cute!

COUSINS!

Braelyn's cousins Nathan and Matthew and her aunt Sharon came to visit! I love this picture because Matthew is trying to get her attention so that Nathan can take a picture with his phone. Not sure that she ever cooperated but it was fun watching the boys with her.She just loves her Nathan. He carries her around a lot like I did when Nathan was a baby.
Matthew wasn't so sure about the whole baby girl thing. He was pretty disappointed when he found out I wasn't having a boy. I think she's beginning to grow on him though.

Brae loves her Aunt Sharon too. She's the aunt who will be laughing at me when Braelyn begins to do naughty things.

What a fun visit!

Family Pictures

These are just a few pictures we got taken when Braelyn turned 5 months. Our wedding photographer took them (fergusonphotographic.net). Of course it was suppose to be a family photo session but Braelyn was much cuter all by herself. My mom actually gave us this gift certificate as a present in Christmas 2007. What a great present it was Grandma Bray, thanks! Braezer did so good. We took pictures for 2 hours as mommy and daddy stood back singing, dancing and making faces trying to get Braelyn to smile. It's amazing what you'll do to get good photos , right. Too much fun! Braelyn's doing well, changing everyday. She now rolls over, loves music, laughs like a crazy girl (as you saw in the video) and let's her dad flip her bottom lip with his finger to get her to sleep, weird child?Braezer and her Daddy. I love this picture.
Braelyn in one of our favorite outfits. Yes, she's discovered her tongue!
This is image is designed as a painting. Thought it was cute too!

Trip to Las Cruces!

This was Braelyn's first trip to Las Cruces. She was sick and miserable at times, learning how to breathe out of her mouth instead of her nose, but still had tons of fun. Thanks for having us Teresa and Mac!

Braelyn was so jealous when she saw her cousins Madisen, Koye and Crew on a horse that she just had to join in on the fun. This is Braezer and her Uncle Mac. Braelyn getting to know Rusty before the big ride!
Look, no hands!
Hangin' out with uncle Mac.
Braelyn seeing her first Oryx. Uncle Mac will have to teach her how to hunt one of these someday.
Aunt Teresa. Braezer just loves her aunt T and thinks she's soooo funny!
Lovin' the open britches on this one!

Braelyn sporting the "Johnny Cash" onesie. I had to put a big huge bow in her hair just to make it a little girly.

Braelyn Laughs

We were able to go visit Aunt Teresa and Uncle Mac in Las Cruces over Labor Day weekend. We had such a good time, but nobody had as much fun as Braelyn. She thought her Aunt T was pretty funny.

Shots!

Okay, why didn't anyone warn me that shots just get harder the older they get? How heartbreaking! I know I should know a little bit about this but it's so different when it's your own baby. These pictures are from Braelyns 4 month old shots and her 6 month ones are coming up soon. I hate it! The first time she did okay at the Dr's but we had a horrible night, she just cried and cried. We finally got her to sleep by running the vacuum. The second time, thankfully Chris went with me, she was so aware and so sad I could hardly take it. It's much easier when they're clueless. I know all you experienced parents are totally making fun of me right now but when does it get easier? Yes, I now have a whole new respect for childbirth and shot giving.
Cute little chubby legs!
